Jop van Bennekom is a designer and creative director based in both Amsterdam and London. He is renowned as the founder, publisher and creative director of many magazine titles: Fantastic Man, BUTT, The Gentlewoman, The Happy Reader amongst others.
Jopās directional work as designer and creative director is characterised by its precision, focus and straight forward aesthetics. A clear concept always underpins his approach. Jop has been pioneering editorial design from the very start of his career in the late 1990s. Language and photography are always an integrated part of his design approach and output; and dialogue is always central part of working with clients.
